Eine weitere Shoal Bay, diesmal im Westen der Insel. Im Gegensatz zur östlichen Namenscousine sind hier nicht sehr viele Menschen anzutreffen. Auch hier ist schneeweisser Sand und türkisfarbenstes Wasser zu bestaunen. Wohnen kann man hier allerdings nur mit sehr viel Geld....

This glittering bay is a lovely place to spend the day. This mile-long sweep of sand, home to some major restaurants and resorts, is rimmed with mangroves, and there are coral reefs not too far from shore. Punctuate your day with a meal at beachside Trattoria Tramonto. You can reach Shoal Bay West by taking the main road to the West End and turning left at the end of the pavement on a gravel road around the pond. Note that similarly named Shoal Bay is a separate beach in a different part of the island.
